Dr. Quisenberry is a Clinical Professor at Texas Woman’s University (TWU) in Denton, Texas, and holds Graduate Faculty status. She has more than 15 years of experience teaching at the graduate and postgraduate levels, with faculty appointments at TWU and the University of Oklahoma.

With over 25 years of RN clinical experience, Dr. Quisenberry has practiced in critical care and as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in rheumatology, interventional cardiology, acute and chronic heart failure, internal medicine, and primary care. Her leadership roles have included Charge Nurse, ICU/CCU Manager, APRN clinician, and Sub-Investigator for Phase I–IV clinical trials involving biologic therapies, DMARDs, and implantable cardiac devices.

She presents nationally and regionally for AANP, TNP, OANP, the Oklahoma CNS Association, NONPF, and GAPNA. Her scholarship includes peer-reviewed publications on rheumatologic disease, venous thromboembolism risk, and factitious disorder. She received the 2020 Cass Award for Teaching Excellence and the ACUE Certificate in Effective College Instruction.
