MSN Program Director, Associate Clinical Professor

Dr. Rachelle Campbell is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and the Program Director for the FNP Online Program at Texas Woman's University, where she has served since 2008. Throughout her academic career, she has taught across associate, bachelor's, RN-to-BSN, master's, and doctoral nursing programs and is committed to developing practice-ready advanced practice nurses. Dr. Campbell's clinical expertise is in primary care with a focus on disease prevention, cardiovascular risk reduction, and evidence-based practice. Her scholarship centers on improving cardiovascular risk assessment and integrating evidence-based clinical decision-making into advanced practice nursing education. Dr. Campbell is a Commissioner for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), a 2026 National League for Nursing (NLN) LEAD Scholar, and serves on national committees advancing nurse practitioner practice and education. She is recognized for her transformational leadership, collaborative approach to academic innovation, and dedication to mentoring future nurse leaders. Her work has been presented at regional, national, and international conferences, reflecting her commitment to advancing nursing education and improving health outcomes.
