Katie (Catherine) Martin is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Online Program at Texas Woman's University in Denton. She teaches in the FNP specialty courses in the Master's of Science in Nursing program.

Her clinical background includes emergency medicine, urgent care, and infection prevention and epidemiology.

She currently practices at a rural federally qualified health center (FQHC) in Northeast Texas, where she provides primary care for patients with complex needs across the lifespan.

Katie is a PhD candidate in Sociology with an emphasis in medical sociology and is expected to earn her doctoral degree in Fall 2026.
