I have decided not to continue with the FNP program, how can I withdraw from the University?
What equipment will I need for clinicals?

The following equipment is required for the FNP program. You are free to purchase these items from the retailer of your choice; however, we recommend Welch Allyn (Links to an external site.).

Required Equipment

  • High-quality stethoscope
  • Standard Diagnostic set including Ophthalmoscope and Otoscope (recommended Welch Allyn)
  • Pen light
  • Reflex hammer
  • Tuning fork (128 and 512Hz recommended)
  • Laminated pocket size ruler, pupil size, and visual acuity cards (Rosenbaum)
  • Measuring tape
  • Tongue depressor
  • Knee length lab coat
  • TWU name tag (specifics to be announced)
I have some personal things going on, am I able to take a Leave of Absence?
  1. Student must request a leave of absence prior to the TWU Regular Registration close date
  2. Email faculty academic advisor to discuss the request
  3. Fill out LOA request form and submit to Faculty Advisor who will forward the request to Program Director
  4. Program Director will approve or disapprove the LOA request. Then forwards the request to the Dean.
  5. Student and Faculty Advisor will receive email notification by the Program Director with the final decision
